History
Date of Birth: March 29th, 1982
Home: Holt, Missouri, United States
Family: Jonas and Heidi Lindahl (parents), Viggo (younger brother)
Chrysalis: Personal Tragedy (her parents immigrated from Denmark and bought the horse farm many years ago, and so she was raised on it; her life was all about equine management and training, both for riding and competitive; but when a teen, she was bucked off a green horse and hurt her back badly; the fear that she'd never ride again opened her more than the actual accident to the arrival of the Aesin soul; it took its time to adapt to the banal world, Chrysalizing Zofia slowly, her heart hardening as it approached), 1999
Mentor: Antoinette Kirs
The Test: Trial by Influence (the lack of a sudden grand burst of magic meant she slipped under the radar of other fae; local nobles sought out her farm for horses, not a Chrysalid; when they found her, they invited her to the courts for guidance, and brought her before Baroness Antoinette, who welcomed the Aesin and helped her master the Fior-Righ and claim her Naming; a certain arrogance accompanied her even then, even before the Naming revealed her rank and title, though she lacked holdings to enforce)
Comrades: Cristiona Paise, Islene Duinseach, Nineve Aloysha, Ranozir Karkadin, Wyatt Roum, Antonia Cerini, Yvie Macdonald, Esme Horton
Key Event #1: Treachery (though given over to the Unseelie nobles in loyalty, she refused to yet oath to the other baronesses, and instead she searched her farm for any sign of potential Glamour or balefire; though she discovered the unusually large storm shelter, it had no magic to it; so she built the watch tower atop her house while researching how to create a freehold)
Key Event #2: Awe & Wonder (it took many years and came to involve her lover, Ranozir, as key to the ordeal: together, they hunted down a chimerical monster of unspeakable, nightmarish identity; its heart became the prime fuel for the balefire; with that spark, she became a baroness in deed as well as title, and the deadly Sir Ranozir gladly her main vassal)
Key Event #3: Awe & Wonder (indeed, Zofia's power drew rivals and allies both; she put her faith in Ranozir to protect her well, and while the Varich bogatyr handled personal security, she saw to guarding her balefire; various mortals also came to serve her household as farmhands and house maids)
Transition: Victory (together with Ranozir, her enchanted land kept safe, a rare site of relative stability not just for the Unseelie but fae at whole)

Remembrance
Magnitude: Zofia's memory reaches back a century or so, time spent largely in Arcadia prior the Second Resurgence when her House joined the exile.
Details: She finds it difficult to zero in on any specific moments or details of Arcadia but she does recall that she was universally loved and obeyed as a wise and powerful ruler.

Chimera
Faerie Steeds & Tack
Appearance: She commands six chimerical horses, which are wondrous animals not unlike horses of the mortal realm, but these fae horses all have unique and supernatural advantages each, often emphasized or empowered by their chimerical tack and gear (names below under Retinue).
Origin: Inherent
Dagger
Appearance: A standard, double-edged iron knife with an unadorned scabbard.
Origin: Inherent

Treasures
Flametongue
Appearance: A medieval broad sword nearly 40 inches in length with a heavy cross-guard hilt, jeweled with carbuncle, and emblazoned into the steel words in an ancient and forgotten faerie language.
Origin: Inherent
Effects: Flames engulf the blade per the Pyretics cantrip but more potently it adds one automatic success to any Pyretics cantrip its wielder casts.
Activation: The wielder must know at least the first rank of Pyretics to use any of the sword's features. If a non-initiate picks up the Flametongue while the blade is aflame, the flame instantly extinguishes.

Retinue
Names: Franzien Zikken, Iris Sanddahl, Tullia Ahlander, Villhelm Hagelin, Jason Sykes, Robert Montgomery; Raban, Astolfo, Wolf, Ute, Ebba, Nortrud
Roles: House Servants; Faerie Steeds

Cat Glacia (Holdings)
Location: Holt, Missouri, United States (southeast of the town proper)
Structure: Mansion (Lodge)
Stock: A large farmhouse with a fenced pasture and barn with stables: 15 stalls (6 are for faerie horses, 3 are horses she owns, and 6 are for boarding); the house and barn alike are atypical for the area, built largely of stone instead of wood, while the heart of the freehold is under the barn, a storm shelter built large enough to save the horses, too, with ventilation shafts dug naturally by badgers, and a hearthfire set in a great firepit in the middle; the Rath is actually a watch tower built atop the farmhouse, accessible through a roof hatch
Traits: Holdings 2

Bunk Styles
Style: High Fantasy
Examples: Etch glyphs, kiss a jewel and touch subject, create and drink potion, ash rune on forehead, pyromancy, make an official proclamation

Significant Other
Name: Ranozir Karkadin, 2004
Nature: Romantic

Sir Ranozir
Weakness
Lady of the House
Don't even think about trying to steal her balefire. Also, don't talk back to her or disobey her on her own land, which she so rarely leaves. She's Aesin to the bone.
Likelihood of Corruption
Low.
Her aristocratic arrogance may be a flaw but it won't lead to corruption.
