Fae Mien

Weight: 130 lb.
Eyes: Sea-green
Hair: Long simple honey-blonde
Clothing: Black and brown archaic
Comportment/Cadence: Confident
Supernatural Qualities: Brigita's true Sidhe form is a stunning vision, with back-swept elfin elegance, a radiance of fantasy come-to-life, and a hearkening to the Golden Age of Piracy: she wears a black and brown leather jerkin and leggings, often with a slim form-fitted leather armor vest; a tricorn "pirate's" hat completes the visual...or maybe that deadly fencer pommel-fitted rapier in her hand does the trick; still, her tongue is sharper than any blade she might brandish, always stating exactly what she thinks
Accoutrements: Light jewelry, leather armor, rapier, dagger
Traits: Appearance 7 (intoxicating); Style 3; The Bard's Tongue

“Don't make it so personal. We're just here to loot and pillage your gold-trimmed yacht.”

History

Date of Birth: November 2nd, 1983
Home: Klaipeda, Klaipeda County, Lithuania
Family: Bikinus Jucius and Vaiva Kuodiene (parents), Leonardas (older brother)
Chrysalis: Preordainment (after the end of the Cold War and the fall of the USSR, she and her family immigrated from Lithuania to Atlanta, Georgia in the US; though blue-collar and relatively poor, they were accepted by the Americans as a poke in Russia's eye; whatever the politics, Brigita always felt loyal to her friends and family and was feisty to prove it; during a mean schoolyard fight, she freaked out a little, as a Varich soul [one of the first during the 2nd Resurgence] entered and took her and the resulting Glamour and Mists frightened the rest off), 1999
Mentor: Reece Laverty
The Test: Trial by Influence (that flare-up of power drew local Ailil Sidhe who recruited the teen and took her into his court for the Fior-Righ and Naming, which he hastened through in order to mobilize and deploy her as an enforcer against his Eiluned rivals and their cadre of Gwydion knights; the short time she spent in this fae court did rejuvenate much of her memories, but she became as obstinate and rebellious as her mortal host)
Comrades: Jawara Pallassa, Sabia Suerte, Nikita Yu Vasili Aleksandrov, Dylan Manx, Luna Starling, Danna Valverde, Bre'anne Tiaishia, Cyndi Briggs, Fate Shammgod, Wanda Absalon, Drew Connelly
Key Event #1: Treachery (she refused to swear herself to the Ailil or any other, and in her rebellion she fled Atlanta in search of a real family, using the Trods to voyage cross-country)
Key Event #2: Awe & Wonder (so it was that by her reputation and attitude did she gain the attention of a different Ailil nearby Kansas City's Little Asia district; Captain Sabia Suerte recruited Brigita to join her "fae pirates" guild, which at first she admitted she thought was a childish cosplay joke, till she met Sabia's ship, the Cyclone; her pirate days had returned as if she'd never left!)
Transition: Shift in Nature (having narrowly avoided being press-ganged into some dumb war, Brigita enjoyed the high seas and pirate life, aloof and proud as she was in Arcadia, hooking up with her crewmate Jawara, even as she enjoyed the captain's confidence as first mate)

Remembrance

Magnitude: Brigita boasts a good memory, reaching back to the Shattering, all of that time spent in Arcadia, of course.
Details: She knows as Varich go she's long been one of the most "ignoble": an infamous raider on the Shining Sea of Sorrow for centuries.

Chimera

Rapier of Wit
Appearance: A mastercraft rapier: a single-edged, sharply-tipped sword designed to poke through armor and other weak defenses, with a pommel cup to protect the hand and an ornate hilt; even the scabbard is etched with golden thread
Origin: Inherent
Effects: Add an automatic success to all Swashbuckler cantrips
Activation: It's attuned to Brigita only; in anyone else's hands, it's just a well-made chimerical sword.

Parrying Dagger
Appearance: A thick-bladed, dull-edged (but sharp-tipped) knife with a wide pommel cup, specifically designed to block enemy blades and abet counter-attacks.
Origin: Inherent

Leather Armor
Appearance: A slim-fitting, custom-made, well-cured vest of leather armor that protects her upper torso.
Origin: Inherent

Bunk Styles

Style: Magic Realism
Examples: Whispering to the spirit world, walk widdershins 3 times, listen to a seashell, rakish laugh, laugh in enemy’s face

Significant Other

Name: Jawara Pallassa, 2005
Nature: Companionship

Jawara

Weakness
More of a Suggestion

Honor, that is. It's more a suggestion for a pirate, even a Sidhe noble-turned-pirate. And that's exactly what Brigita is. Proudly.

Likelihood of Corruption

High.

I mean, as a merciless scalawag and rakish scoundrel, she's already pretty "corrupt". That ship has sailed, indeed. But she could get worse, namely if their navigator (with the captain's tacit approval) guides them awry. (Sometimes, the black void is a literal place, one to be avoided always!)
