The Test: Trial by Knowledge (Chu Hua swore to being coldly calm after that, eager to "put away childish things" and fulfill the high expectations the hengeyokai had of her; she proved herself worthy of rank handily in a sword duel of honor, not against a fellow hengeyokai but a nosy Namebreaker, a Shaolin swordsman who kept bothering the court; she defeated him and sent him on his way)

Key Event #4: Personal Tragedy (her attitude grated more and more on the gai'nan's nerves, so she was strongly encouraged to leave the court and join another, ideally move abroad to broaden her horizons, so she chose the farthest away she could find: Little Asia's new Beast-Court in the middle of America)
Key Event #5: Awe & Wonder (she settled into the Court of Bamboo Talons, adopting her role as warrior neatly to their needs; she even toyed with a possible new Kinfolk mate, Kagaya Toshi, but still did her vanity shield her from real connections, relationships she feared again to lose)
