The Test: Trial by Wit (Janie herself was quite confused by the Chrysalis but luckily local fae homed in on the surge of Glamour, and her fellow commoners brought her to a mew and walked her through what was happening and helped her towards her Naming; meanwhile, she found that PT and kickboxing training helped focus her mind and learn what she needed to know)

Key Event #2: Personal Tragedy (not all of her fights were legitimate tournaments, however, especially if she wanted to fight men; in one case, a back alley fist fight in Athens got her into trouble when her tactical wit/Pooka frailty tricked her opponent so much that he fell down an open manhole and broke his neck; she basically walked off as if it never happened; in another occasion, in Buenos Aires, her feints actually over-excited her male opponent who got a little handsy and even rapey, forcing her to fight so desperately that she ultimately broke his neck; she buried his body in a nearby junkyard and once more whistled her way out innocently)
Key Event #3: Personal Tragedy (she gave up the modeling and world-gallivanting fighting career to lie low for a while, and ended up in the States, in the Midwest, as quiet and hum-drum as she could get short of Alaska; here she settled in and began teaching kickboxing as self-defense at the YWCA)
Transition: Shift in Nature (feeling safer after a few years, even finding a nice and sweet Kinain boyfriend/Dreamer named Dugg, she started competing again and even became licensed as a part-time phys ed teacher at a local elementary school)

Magnitude: Janie's fey memory reaches back a century or so.
Details: She recalls once being a deer Pooka that accompanied late waves of Anglo colonists to Australia, and while wandering the Northern Territory, either falling into a deep sleep or being cursed into one by an Aborigine shaman (or even Gallain) and waking up as a kangaroo instead. Or maybe it's all just a big Pooka fabrication.
