History

Date of Birth: April 3rd, 1995
Home: Kitashirakawa, Kyoto, Kyoto Prefecture, Honshu, Japan
Family: Amagawa Tsuneo and Emiri (parents), Bairei (older brother)
Kun Shou: Personal Tragedy (coming from a strict and wealthy family of note, Kioshi always imagined herself a princess, and early on latched onto Disney princess stories, often cosplaying as various princesses; but she had a serious hypomagnesia disorder that went diagnosed, her condition chalked up to the "female condition of sickliness" by her chauvinist father, until she finally collapsed into seizures; the Komoku spirit took over from there, and once in the hospital, she recovered and was treated), 2006
Mentor: Goda Zenko
The Test: Trial by Influence (she intuitively knew she was a Yü princess and rejuvenated in mind and body, the young kamuii, after school, visited her former court to re-learn the things about Shinma she had forgotten, exhibiting the same confidence as before that was so often mistaken for conceit)
Comrades: Abrianna Cunningham, Andrea Citron, Autumn Shipp, Courtney Manson, Dalila Gaddis, Felicia Delany, Gwen Coyle, Heather Chapeau, Juliana Oates, Karen Edwards, Madison Gavrell, Malina Maytin, Regina Attenberry, Shannon Ransford, Sofia Citron, Stephanie Clarke, Abigail Green, Brigitte Causing, Erin Wallister, Holly Roff, Ivy Van Ness, Leticia Rowbottom, Lisa Eastley, Oona Bircher, Ophelia Strauss, Piper Beattie, Rayleigh Dunham, Tabitha Hecht, Veronica Van Ness, Zarya Nagaya, Iria Tapihana, Riley Carroll, Salali Amadahy, Sasa Longroad, Tori Cummins, Yewande Temitope, Adaeze Osuma, Murakami Sho, Nika Casiguaya Jasmine, Usha Shastri, Huang Lifen, Samira Rostami, Balthasar Rane, Serena Bellamy, Chelsea Chalk, Keelin Adger, Misty Goode, Reagan Edson, Shawna Coleman, Javon Stout, Cameron Kaiser, Onaia Kaiwaena
Key Event #1: Awe & Wonder (she began to earn irritation from the court's other, older ladies, but as they unofficially ostracized her, she hardly noticed, still wrapped up in her Disney cosplay and soon the anime/Disney conventions in town)
Key Event #2: Treachery (the pettiness reached a dangerous level: the other Yü ladies began to conspire against her, even a plot to murder her, and abused their magical Arts to cause her family home to collapse during a minor earthquake they caused, but she and her human family luckily survived)
Key Event #3: Personal Tragedy (though the other Yü ladies would be punished, the ranking lord still found Kioshi to blame for the airs of conceit she mistakenly gave off through her superlative beauty and greater affectation for noble behavior; as a consequence, he ordered she leave Kyoto and Japan altogether, reassigning her to the foreign Shinma court in San Francisco)
Transition: Reassignment (she took to the punishment with glee, because now she was only a few hours away from Disneyland! So Kioshi settled in San Francisco; that was when Serena reached out, connecting to Kioshi through her long-time princess fantasies, and recruiting her thereby into the Shanghaied Ensemble)

Remembrance

Magnitude: Kioshi finds she can recall as far back as to the Tokugawa Era in this Fifth Age
Details: She remembers being the darling daughter of an important Edo daimio; many suitors dueled (and a few died) for her hand in marriage, which the independent kamuii beauty refused to ever give.

The Shanghaied Ensemble of Royalty is a massive collective of "fairy princesses" to which she blithely and merrily belongs. Visit this link for the full skinny:

Weakness
Polished Diamond

Kioshi is a beautiful lady, one of a kind, and she knows it. She just can't focus. As Komuko go, she may be one of the least steady and stable-minded earth elementals around. But they do exist, as surely as the earth sometimes quakes.

Likelihood of Corruption

Low.

She's gotten herself bound up now in the Shanghaied Ensemble. Whatever Queen Serena's intentions, Kioshi's happily along for the ride, which will keep her free of darker corruption, but is clearly a one-way trip to the wildness of the Waigoren fae.
